Our Beliefs
There is one God existing as three individual persons, known as God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. All three are God.
Jesus is the Son of God and the way to everlasting life. Jesus is the pillar of the Christian Faith, having died on the cross, was buried, and rose again from the grave. His resurrection is the basis of Salvation and without it, Christianity would not exist.
The Bible is the inerrant Word of God. It is God speaking to us to let us know who He is and what He wants of us. Through the Bible, God tells us where we came from, where we are going, gives us His commandments for living, and shows us the way to everlasting life, though his Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible is Gods inspired word, contains no error or contradiction, and is what God wants us to know. Our teachings are based on Biblical truth and not on mans wisdom or any world view.
Salvation is a gift from God. It is the Grace of God though Faith in his Son Jesus Christ, who paid the price for our sin by suffering and dying on the Cross. Salvation comes by Faith alone, and not by works, although we are justified by works. Our works please God and demonstrate our Faith. We do not believe that all roads lead to eternal happiness. Being good will not save you, neither will being bad necessarily condemn you, if you repent and trust Jesus.
Christianity is the one true Faith, teaching that Jesus is the Son of God, who died on the Cross for our sin and is the way to everlasting life. All other religions are inventions of man and lead people away from the the one true God.
There is a being who exists called Satan (or the Devil). He works supernaturally on the earth, with other beings called demons, to lead people away from the truth, which is Salvation by Grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe in the Doctrine of Creation as specified in Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" and that God did this in six days. We reject the scientific or any other explanation of the universe which disputes Creation. We totally reject the Big Bang Theory and the Theory of Evolution as explanations for the existance of the universe and of life.
We believe that God is not subject to the laws and properties of the universe and that no scientific justification is necessary or adequate to explain His work. People who believe in and/ or support scientific justifications for God's work, lack Faith.
We believe that abortion is murder and there is no jusitification for this heinous activity.
We believe that God allows death and suffering becuase this is a fallen world, but that He will help us through our circumstances if we turn to Him and trust Him.
We believe in prayer and teach it as the means of communicating with God who answers prayer according to His divine will.
